Tentang Pembicara:
Dr Mazalan Kamis is Chief Executive (CEO) of Institut Darul Ridzuan (IDR), a policy development think tank for the State of Perak. IDR provides innovative policy recommendations to strategise socio-economic agenda to various stakeholders in the State. Dr Mazalan was formerly CEO of Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia (YIM), an entity entrusted under the Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) to promote and inculcate creativity and innovation among Malaysian citizen.

He received his PhD in Extension Education specializing in Transformative Learning from University Putra Malaysia and a M.Ed in Instructional Leadership from University of Houston, USA, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from University of Queensland, Australia. He was a post-doctoral fellow at Cornell University, USA, where he worked on Transnational Education Project focussing on planning and developing culturally sensitive community development program for developing countries.
