She is a female academic and researcher with focus on women’s organization in conflict affected areas. She holds Ph.D. in ASEAN Studies and M.A in International Relations particularly expertise in sociocultural, peace and women studies. She has more than decade’s experiences in academic, research and volunteers in the fields of socio-politic, gender and cultural studies. She has strong ethical commitment, analytical and communication skills.Currently she is working as International Language Lecturer at Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai, Thailand.

Myra holds Master of Education from University of Canberra and PhD from The Australian National University (ANU), where her dissertation, "Cut Nyak Din: A Study of Female Heroism in Indonesia," examines the intersections of gender, nationalism, and postcolonial memory through the evolving notion of hero. Myra held academic appointments at ANU, the University of New South Wales Canberra, and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Australia, where she taught courses on Indonesian language, politics, and culture. She is currently an academic fellow at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore, where she continues her research on the hero phenomenon across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Muhammad Sahlan completed his MA in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies from Gadjah Mada University in 2003. Since 2006 he becomes faculty member of Ushuluddin Faculty and heads Sociology of Religion Department. Before joining ICAIOS, he worked with Forum Peduli HAM, LaKaspia Institute, Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies of Islamic University of Ar-Raniry, Institute for Islamic Studies and Peace (LaKIP) and Indonesian Society and Empowerment (INSEP) Jakarta (until present). His publications are, among other, Management Konflik Berbasis Sekolah (Alvabet, 2015), Studi Agama (Ushuluddin Publishing, 2014), Kerukunan Umat Beragama (Ushuluddin Publishing 2013), and Mediasi Konflik Aceh Belajar dari HDC, (Ar-Raniry Press, 2012).
Research interest: Conflict Resolution and Peace Studies, Sociology of Religion, and Islamic Studies.

Nurjannah received her M.D. (as General Practitioner) from Syiah Kuala University in 2004 and her MPH from the University of Sheffield, the UK in 2009. After serving as a primary health doctor for two years, dr. Nurjannah accepted a teaching position within the Syiah Kuala University, Medical School, in Public Health Department in 2006. She currently is a full-time lecturer, researcher, and health consultant. As a lecturer, she teaches public health subjects including epidemiology, research methods, and biostatistics. As a researcher, her focus is public health, researching the influence of public health and health status. While her early research addressed medical education, tropical diseases, disaster preparedness and primary health care studies, her current research interests are in mental health especially schizophrenia, depression and college students’ knowledge, attitude, and practice on HIV/AIDS. As a health consultant, she has been working with provincial and district health offices, primary health care, national, and international NGOs. She is actively involved in primary health care services, to provide quality services in particular.
