ICAIOS is conducting research data analysis training to researchers from Logica of Banda Aceh office. This training is a part of capacity building programs which have been routinely carried out by ICAIOS to develop/build the capacity of local researchers in Aceh. Logica has conducted various research projects related to birocracy reform and good governance. Local researchers involving in these research projects need additional knowledge on how to analyze research data accurately and scientifically. Therefore, ICAIOS offers a training package that includes qualitative data analysis through the use of NVIVO and Endnote programs and quantitative data analysis through the use of SPSS program.
This particular training is going to take place from Monday through Friday (July 1-5, 2013). The detailed topics of the training include: qualitative research design, data collection technique in qualitative approaches (including in-depth interviews, FGD, and etc.), qualitative data analysis, transcriptions of interview results, data analysis with NVivo, and scientific referencing technique with Endnote. Besides, this training also addresses quantitative data analysis which specifically touches the introduction of inferential and descriptive statistics, parametric and non-parametric statistics, and quantitative data analysis with SPSS.
