In this lecture, Daisuke Takeya, the representative and the curator of Field Trip Project Asia will discuss issues raised during “Onagawa Art Season 2013” an art festival and artist in residence program held at the town of Onagawa, Japan where devastated by the Great East Japan Earth Quake of 2011. Artists and the community leaders worked together within a particular community in difficulties at an early stage of recovery. Mr. Takeya will also talk about the possibilities of Socially Engaged Art (SEA), a trend wide spreading around the globe especially at Post Truth era.
